Jazz x Pete Pups

A stylish, beautifully tempered female from Wales, Jazz, ran off with my #1 dog, Peter, while I was distracted. The result was an unexpected litter of 4 pups, 2F / 2M, born 19-June-2025, with the perfect markings and athleticism of their parents. Accidents can produce happy outcomes.

Jazz is from Ross Games, a top handler in Wales. Peter is the product of the current international champion, Clwyd Bob, and James McCloskey’s Nel, daughter of his renowned competitive dog, Sweep.

Pete and Jazz are both 100% clear of genetic diseases on their breed DNA profile. No known genetic disease in either of the lines.

Jett

Jet is just what his name suggests …a burst of energy. He is one of the smartest pups I have every bred …very much like his sire. With his pricked ears and penetrating eyes, he looks every bit as intelligent as he is. And he is always ready to go …so much so that he doesn’t want to come back in.

The words that describe Jet are: athletic, confident, agile, TOUGH, VERY smart. He has no fears. Not people, not dogs, not noises.

An intense 6 mo old pup ready for training. Jet is a rare 5 on the 5 pt. power-intensity scale. A very smart and highly athletic male by my #1 dog, Peter, son Clwyd Bob and James McCloskey’s Nel, out of Ross Games’ stylish Jazz. Jet is a beautiful specimen of a working dog.

A full-on working dog with impact, pups with this level of physical and mental ability are rare. For those looking for a more intense relationship with their dog, the time and investment produce an amazing result.

Pups like Jet take more training than medium power dogs, but are far more useful for tough working applications. Jett will need a one-on-one relationship with an ~experienced~ handler, pups like this have a little bit of the devil in them for the first 18 mo …just part of the package for people who want/need more intense dogs.

When you’re a Jet,
You’re the top cat in town,
You’re the gold-medal kid
With the heavyweight crown!

When you’re a Jet,
You’re the swingin’est thing.
Little boy, you’re a man;
Little man, you’re a king!

‘Jet Song’, West Side Story

Crate trained. Tough and resilient. Can handle all all weather. Lives in the barn, in shavings / hay. Clear of genetic diseases by parentage. ISDS registered. DOB 19-June-2025.

Price is $2995.

Skye

Skye will turn your head with her good looks and quick glance. She is a stunning pup. Her name was chose because it suggests the nature, freedom, and the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

She was “breeder’s choice” of her litter, a pup with confidence and spirit. She would have been my keeper, had she taken to sheep early. She will mitt, sometimes, it takes time for pups to ‘turn on’ to sheep.

Skye is an intelligent pup with the independence that goes along with it. She does not need affection, but is happy to be told she has done something right …and doesn’t fall apart when told (off) that she hasn’t pleased me. She seems to have no fears.

Like her brother Jett, Skye is *highly athletic” pup, a companion for someone looking for more than a house dog, since she is less interested in people than her work. She will bond with one person and the rest of the world is just …the rest of the world.

The person who takes Skye should want a pup who is: smart, independent, athletic and sharp.

Rhys

The single word that comes to mind for Rhys is ‘stable‘. This is a pup with a wonderful sense of calm and composure. Rhys is a big pup and will be above average full grown. He is strong and solid.

Rhys likes people. He is one of the first to run and greet visitors. Loves affection and attention.

Rhys is showing good early indications of herding instinct. He is not as stylish as his parents, but he is *very focused* and serious. Rhys is a good listener, essential in a good working dog. And he is confident. I would rate his working potential as good to very good.

In the kennel, Rhys is quiet and well-behaved. As is common to serious dogs, he is willing to wait until it is time, not jump all over the place and bark.

For people wanting a steady, stable, strong working dog or companion, Reese is a pup to consider. Price is $2995.
