Blu is the strongest dog I have ever bred, both in physicality and intensity. He defines a ‘5’ on the 5 point power-intensity scale. If his blue, serious eyes don’t hold stock, his physical presence and assertive style will. The word that best describes Blu is ‘tough‘.
Blu is with Bryan in New York State because with his intensity Blu needed a more singular relationship and more work than I could give him.
Blu’s sire is Northern Irishman Dean McAuley’s champion, Joe:
- Four-time singles member of the Irish National Team (2021, 2022, 2023, 2025)
- Two-time Irish Brace Champion (2021, 2022)
- Three-time International Supreme Finalist (2021, 2022, 2025), 4th in 2025 Supreme and 2nd highest qualifying score, 3rd highest qualifying score 2022
- Supreme Nursery Champion in 2020
Blu’s dam, Meg, is by Martin Feeney’s exceptional Jack, a gritty multi-time Irish National Team member and International Supreme finalist, out of another Irish Team member, Jill, whose grandsire is James McGee’s famous Silver.
Unfortunately, Blu’s semen does not freeze well. Blu is available by special request for live matings in western New York State. Stud fee for breeding is $1500 and requires a negative brucellosis test prior to breeding.
