At 4 weeks +\/-, pups leave the whelping box for the puppy kennel.  They also get weaned from just mother&#8217;s milk to hard food.  This group of big pups (from both dam and sire) needed no encouragement to start chowing down hard food, a mix of scrambled egg, ground beef and ground puppy kibble.
