Max<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max was born Mother’s Day 2022. He is a large, handsome, powerful male collie with classic markings, confidence, stronger than average eye, and a calm temperament. I put him on sheep at 8 weeks, he took to them immediately, didn’t care that he was so small compared to them, and by 14 weeks he had his basic commands down moving the around the field. Training ceased in November 2022 due to winter snows and the benefit of a few months maturing. Max’s training will resume in May 2023. Max would be a very good nursery prospect. He is clear by parentage on the ISDS-4 panel DNA test [CEA, IGS, SN, TNS]. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a dog of substantial size and power, Max has a non-agressive, easy-going nature. He is a 3 on the 1 – 5 scale of dominance. He is not fearful, but will walk away from a fight with another dog. This makes him an ideal companion off the field. Great for walks and taking new places. He has no fears of people or dogs or new situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
