Max is a big, powerful<\/strong>, long and sinewy dog capable of handling the most difficult sheep. No recalcitrant ewe or ram is a match for Max. He was big enough and focused enough to be working sheep at 8 weeks old. His nickname was ‘big boy’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite his impressive sized, he possess both agility and speed. He is the champion of the 50m dash. And he can go all day. Max is a gifted athlete with a lean torso, large head (with brains) and long, powerful legs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max’s breeding unites the lines of Aled Owen (Mac), Kevin Dodd (Bill), James McCloskey (Sweep) and James McGee (Silver) …however, he most resembles James McGee’s Silver in style and size<\/strong><\/em> …with a dash of McCloskey’s Sweep. He is powerful but deft and steady with sheep. Like Silver, a master of the lift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max produces long, large pups distinguished by their even temperament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
